"The Well" is an exploration of ambient noise.

In the spirit of artists like Toshimaru Nakamura, Kevin Drumm, and Merzbow, the chaotic "No Input Mixing" techniques collide with feedback-based sound design, and effects, to create a dark and unsettling atmosphere.

Performed live and fully improvised, this work is inspired by scenes from Haruki Murakami's novel "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle".
